Aya / doll for children

Aya
Aya

Aya is a new concept of a clean visual and simple functionality doll, bringing something different from existing realistic dolls (baby and mannequin dolls), which limit children’s imagination and creativity.
Designed for children ages 4 to 7 years, Aya explores customization possibility through interchangeable parts and accessories that allow freehand drawing on head and body, as well as numerous body positions and poses with flexible limbs.
Through interaction and simplicity, this project reflects a cultural change initiative related to the end of the beauty imposed ideal in today’s society.
