Waning moon / Spoon

Waning moon

In China, chef in restaurant always likes to use the soup ladle rather than slice because the soup ladle is easier to take the seasoning or condiment. The stir-frying in all directions is smoothly. Thus the initial original shape of “waning moon” still is a soup ladle but cut an opening at the left side. Such opening solves the problems of taking the cooking liquor during cooking, which is closed to the fit the edge of round stir pan. The design idea comes from a soup ladle used for over 10 years, which has formed a natural opening like the waning moon. The opening is on the left in keeping with usage manner from left to right.
