1% of the world population suffer from epilepsy.Currently to receive a qualified diagnosis, patients undergo a very unpleasant test procedure: Electrodes are connected to the patient’s head in order to record brain-wave activity.•The patient is then subjected an uncomfortable stimuli in order to cause an epileptic seizure.This project offers a much more comfortable solution:This innovative device, allows for comfortable testing in the home environment.The patient wears the wireless device on his head.An acceleration sensor detects when a seizure takes and an electrical activity recorder collects brain-wave information throughout the attack.
