SLITE / Water Tap

SLITE is a neat water tap for the bathroom, inspired by waterfalls in the nature. The focus was the approach to make people more aware of their water usage on a daily basis.
The application is easy: for temperature settings the display has to be moved to the left side for warmer water and to the right for colder water.

To be aware of the water consumption, the display shows the amount of water, which is used, with a decreasing square. The white square appears if the average household amount is exceeded. If this happens, the water pressure reduces to emphasize that the limit has been reached and water is wasted.
