Sewing machines are getting bigger and more complex while mobility becomes more important in our everyday life. The design concept “Nålintu” is not only characterized by its small dimensions but also by its dual usability. It is both stationary and portable thanks to its clever docking system. Set it in the dock to use it conventionally while it charges, or take it out of the station for freehand stitching on-the-go. To provide a perfect sight onto the stitches, “Nålintu” has a 30° angled handle that is shaped to fit exactly in your hand. With the help of two micro bobbins it reaches the same stitch quality as conventional sewing machines.
