Problems
When people water plants, the plates under pots gather stagnant water. Then, the mosquitoes lay eggs in plates which endangers people. Another problem is when soil lacks nutrient and hardens, it becomes impermeable and gathers water on the top of the soil. It causes the plants dead.
Solutions
A stone plate with thorns can solve these problems. Due to the characters of stone, it can absorb the thermal energy of sun and evaporate the stagnant water. The thorns on plates are able to avoid mosquitoes from laying eggs, and they are designed a slant, which make the water on soil flows down along the pot directly.
