This project challenges the current condition of the elevator shafts in skyscrapers, and proposes to use the void space as containers of water.
Rain water is collected from the roof and directed into the shafts, while elevator cars is redesigned into floating devices tomove between floors.
While moving freely, elevator capsules also serve to monitor and maintain the quality of the collected rain water, and at the same time provides a fantastic new experience of vertical mobility within a building.
