Sky Path / Skyscraper Escape System

Sky Path

Sky Path provides a safe, mass evacuation option for those in skyscrapers and other tall buildings by means of a harness and descent-rail system. Harness are stored in a clearly visible box and are pre-attached to an internal rail. The rail leads out of a safety door and follows the external wall to the ground.

Users put on harnesses within the building and proceed out of the exit door. The harness attachment device provides a controlled rate of decent until victims reach the ground, where the harness releases from the rail.
