Spherical Stent / Medical Device (Stent)

Spherical Stent
Spherical Stent

Intracranial aneurysm is a localized enlargement of a weakened artery wall, the unexpected rupture of which causes stroke, the second leading cause of death worldwide. Spherical Stent is a novel invention for treating intracranial aneurysms, proposed to break through the limitations of current therapies. It can be placed quickly, precisely, and steadily in the aneurysm within minutes by a conventional catheter to provide more uniform radial support to the aneurysm and thus reduce the risk of rupture. The tiny but delicate design of the Spherical Stent could open up a wide variety of new market opportunities in the future.
