The TWIST Water Tap concept is a result of the Form and Interaction course at Umeå Institute of Design.
The water tap does not need a handle, moreover it is the handle and faucet in one.
The interaction between user is intuitive and self-explanatory, by simply touching the tip of the tap and turning it. Small rubber knobs at the top show the user where to touch and simultaneously give the direction of turning. By turning the tip of the tap, the whole faucet is transformed but still continues its shape. A turn to the left equals cold water in various steps and for hot water it is the same way in the other direction.
