The Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto, is renown for his androgynous, deconstructive and avant-garde style.
The concept of the exhibition is the partial disintegration of the traditional Japanese architecture into an asymmetric form, that resembles Yohji’s way of working.
The walkable sculpture stretches itself into Mies van der Rohe‘s Neue Nationalgalerie in Berlin and creates for the visitor six areas with information about the artist himself, his influences and his fashion style.
