Preliminary Seating / seating element

Preliminary Seating
Preliminary Seating

The way our homes look have a similar impact on a persons identity like clothing, hairstyle and other means of expressing who we are to the outside world. Through "customisable" products the industry tries to appeal to the consumers urge to be unique, but mostly is selling empty promises. "Preliminary objects" is a collection of items found in a home, that allow the consumer to have an impact on their final look. "Preliminary seating" is a 10m long foam filled fabric tube with hermaphroditic connectors on each end. These allow for a multitude of elements to be connected, randomly intertwining them, completing existing structures and more.
