Many oceanographers think “people will no longer have seafood after 2048” because the most serious harm for the ocean is excessive capturing. With the advanced technology, fishing methods are improved. However, many conscienceless merchants earn benefits through excessive amount of fishing. Besides, modern people like conspicuous consumption and tend to eat valuable seafood containing large species with longer growth period and lower fertility. As a result, resources in the ocean ecology are no longer satisfying our demands.
