Flexicable / Earphone Cable

Under the subject "Connection" I've invented new headphones.
When using headphones you always need some kind of linking material to organize or shorten the long cable. But why can't just the cable keep it's shape on its own? Because if it could, one wouldn't be in need of an extra linking material. Taking my cue from this issue I've built a cable that can easily be moulded by everyone.
You can just wrap the cable with your hands and it actually keeps its shape. Even different individualized and aesthetic shapes can be designed. And if you pull it at one end it becomes a straight cable again.
