HoPe / Artificial Heart

HoPe

HoPe is a totally artificial heart developed for people with deficiencies and cardiac complications. Its hard body prevents the development of diseases such as Chagas disease, which swells the heart. Hope is a hopeful design to motivate the people that no have more time and need a transplant. Based on the problem that the mortality rate from complications heart can reach more than 20% of the number of deaths in Brazil (source: Brazilian Cardiology Association), files and many people lose loved ones by these problems, "HoPe" brings in its name HOPE for the patient and his family, who need a motivation to continue living.
