SEEWIMMING / Swimming Cap

SEEWIMMING

Blind swimmers are usually hit by their coach with a specific rod when they are close to the wall, so that they stay far away from the pool wall. In order to improve the way of reminding them, we installed an ultrasonic sensor on swimming caps to help the blind swimmers to easily determine an obstacle’s distance. If it is 10 meters, 5 meters or 3 meters near the wall, continuous short vibration, continuous short acceleration of vibration and long-lasting vibration will respectively help them do self-training. If the swimmer is more close to the right lane, then the short vibration alerts from the right side.
