The North Sea is the loudest sea in the world, resulting in various impacts on its life at sea. Especially the continuous construction of offshore wind power plants and their intense noise damages its ecosystems. The endangered porpoise is particularly affected. The project »Offshore Lärm« is an informative poster series about the dangers of the construction of offshore power plants in the North and Baltic Sea and above all its impact on the life of the porpoise. The project visualizes complex facts about these topics in an understandable way and targets politicians and economists to review their strategies on the development of green energy.
