“I want to design a bicycle helmet that you love to wear!”
As we all know most people don´t wear these protectors because they look ugly on and bulky off your head. After weeks of clay modeling, studying face graphics and interviewing people I came up with the idea of a ultra-slim,-light and -flexible helmet that is made out of visco-elastic foam. This material, used in motorbike protectors, is highly shock absorbent, flexible and easy to recycle. Leather-Kevlar strips hold the three helmet shells, which are shaped like the flow of human hair. The wall thickness is chosen by the statistical likelihood of injuries in each area.
