Modify / street furniture

Modify is an adaptable social furniture piece designed to promote human interaction through play. The piece works through pushing and pulling the tubes on the wall, raising the corresponding tubes on the floor, allowing the user to form the furniture they desire. Through play, a shared experience is formed and social engagement is promoted. This is true whether the users are interacting with the furniture together, or if one is observing and another engaging. This form of interaction not only promotes a heightened sense of self, but also promotes respect and concern for the self of others allowing for a relationship to build between people.
