Trompe / Respiratory Support

Trompe is a respiratory support for premature babies. It is used for treating preterm infants whose lungs have not fully developed and to improve their survival. It provides mild air pressure to keep the airways open and prevents them from collapsing or becoming blocked.

Whereas traditional systems are only designed for incubator use, Trompe is the first solution that enhances daily kangaroo care (skin to skin contact between parent and baby). This is particularly important to premature babies, and is proven to drastically improve development.

Its unique appearance takes away the mechanical look and invites the user to care and bond.
