Amico / service robot

Amico
Amico

In the face of a quickly aging society, the question how to maintain and regain indepence at old age becomes increasingly relevant. Amico is a robotic arm designed to help older people with tasks in daily life. It encourages people by enabling them to live their lifes independently as long as possible. In its basic configuration Amico is attached to a walking frame. The concept also foresees a expansion for uses on mobile plattforms, guide rails alongside walls and on docking stations. As older people's needs were especially taken into consideration, they can use it intuitively and adapt the controls to their personal needs.
