My initial idea was
to apply the well-established methods of rode bending in an original way by slicing the rode lengthwise, to achieve a surprising clean & minimal look.
The process proved to be too complex and
expensive. I looked for a more efficient,
industrialized, method of achieving the
same look.

The metal structure is made of cast aluminum.
The five metal parts fit together using
pins incorporated in the casting,
The parts are then welded together.
After sanding, a clear-coat anodize finish is applied to form
a strong and seamless structure.
