Once upon a time the trees symbolized pillars which supported the sky.
They were arranged into an axis and were regarded as sacred, wise and eternal. Trees were seen as magic, holy beings which helped to maintain the order of the world. The “like a tree” series starts as a tale about nature, society, and you and me. The end of this story is up to us.
Today I know that in my head was the whole system of requirements, what the world should be like, what should I be like, what should I desire. How many beliefs that I carry are of my own and not arbitrarily imposed by society, culture, religion, or past experiences?
