flow / flow

Flow is a set of crockery that aims to reduce the extra calorie intake from the extra oil, sauce and gravy for our hawker centre food. With elevated platform, the liquid from the dishes which are fried with oil or gravy laden food, will flow down to the sides creating a ring surrounding the food making the food look more precious and creating awareness of how much oil and sauce is used to prepare the food we consume. The hindrance caused by the circular ledge on the plate limits the scooping and dipping movement and directs gravy to the side. The subtle and honest design eliminates the excess sauce, gravy and oil.
