X-Plore / outdoor accesory

Obesity rates in Canada are approaching almost 5% of children ages 6-11, and more time than ever is being spent inactively staring at a screen.
X-plore is a children’s adventure tool that encourages outdoor exploration by using relatable touch-screen technology. Children can use the touch screen and the camera to identify objects in their environment and learn about them. X-plore uses wi-fi, blutooth, a GPS transmitter and a local micro SD card to share information.
The touch screen and symbol-based navigation mean the child can interact easily, and the collection aspect of X-plore encourages children to learn and share discoveries.
