Carbon fiber technology has so far mainly been used for highly priced prosthetic feet for very active amputees. The 1C10 Terion makes the proven advantages of carbon material (lightweight, flexible, durable) accessible to users in price sensitive regions of the world. The minimalistic design with an anatomically shaped elastic heel and a partially splitted carbon fiber spring supports the user with high dynamics and energy return in a broad variety of daily living situations. Additional aspects of the design are robustness and easy application by the orthopedic technician.
