Felt-tipped pens are very popular with children. However, younger children may not have reached the point of sensitivity to know the correct amount of pressure to use while writing or coloring. Because of this, the pen is very often pressed too hard onto the paper and the tip is irretrievably pushed back into the shaft. Faber-Castell now has a perfect, age-appropriate solution: the fiber tip is now spring loaded! In case of too much pressure, the fiber tip disappears in the shaft, but once the pressure is released, the tip returns to the set position!
