SIX.2 CARBON SURFBOARD / translucent surfboard

SIX.2 CARBON SURFBOARD

The SIX.2 CARBON concept is a surfboard made out of a carbon-grid-core, coated with a translucent composite material.
With the grid the surfboard has enough air inside to lift the surfer on the water. It also protects the surfer against sharks, because the sun is able to shine through the surfboard and the shark didn‘t see the shadow of the surfer anymore.
Because there is now foam inside of the surfboard, it is much more stable and the surfer didn‘t need to repair the board immediatly when it got a little damage.
A conventional surfboard will mould really fast if the foam gets wet.
