The TOOL CHAIR allows - maybe even encourages - dynamic seating. It enables the user to use various postures and positions. A bent plate on the side offers support and can be used as both armrest or backrest and also as a shelf. With its narrow seat, the TOOL CHAIR cultivates the habit of sitting on the edge of the chair. With its rounded sides and edges, it does not prescribe a sitting posture and allows the user to move in any direction. Questioning established typologies and standards is fundamental in my work as a designer. It is not just about making new and pleasant things, but rather about driving evolution forward.
