With second screen app “HerthaHeroes” by Deutsche Bahn, every fan becomes part of the soccer game. In the app they vote for their hero of the day, see lineups, live statistics, background information and gain access behind the scenes of a home match. But how mixing the corporate identity of Deutsche Bahn with the colors of Hertha to make a platform for heroes? An elaborate animation opens the Hall of Fame, appearing minimalistic and sublime at the same time. Only a few red elements refer to the sponsor. In anthracite with selectively implemented animations and clean lines the app concentrates on the essentials: players and usability.
