Aether Cone / Thinking music player

Aether Cone

Discipline: Product

Aether Cone is the first music player that learns what you like to play what you love, creating a personalized music experience based on your life and the world around you. It uses complex algorithms to understand when, where and how loudly you listen to play the perfect song for the moment – offering an untethered experience without an app or remote. Aether Cone’s voice control allows you to ask for a song, making it customizable yet approachable. Its intuitive interface and shape, which is derived from the symbol of sound in its purest form, allude to how and why you use it without being an overtly technological piece. Aether Cone makes music simple.

What fascinates us about this music player is the fact that it follows the user’s musical taste. Over time, the cone-shaped device gets to know the user and plays songs or programs based on the user’s preferences: an absolutely unique product experience. What’s more, the player works without apps or remote control and instead uses voice commands and a dial-disc to provide an extremely easy-to-use and intuitive interface.
