Bacterial diseases are the main cause of the death of children younger than 5 years old in the African region south of Sahara. Although more than 90% of the diseases can be prevented only if children can wash their hands with soaps, the reality is that the prevention is difficult due to the lack of smooth supply of soaps. SOPE is a soap production kit that can make a soap only using plants widely available in the local region of Africa, and sunlight, which will become a self-supplier of soaps to African children and help preventing diseases and lowering the mortality rate.
