VÄLISSÄ lamppu / VÄLISSÄ lamp

VÄLISSÄ lamppu
VÄLISSÄ lamppu

In our well networked time we have to move from place to place for studying and working while getting along with limited space.
VÄLISSÄ is finnish and means: in between.
Inspired by wedges keeping doors open, the VÄLISSÄ lamp can be fixed in gaps of the room, giving these unregarded places a new useful function.
The construction focuses on saving space on work-tops.
The wooden base consists out of two parts to hold the bulb, close the shade and amplify the lamp wedging in gaps. The wooden base is assembled to the lasercutted folded acrylic shade.
The acrylic shade is cut out of leftover acrylic sheets of the finnish lamp company Innojok
