DRAG-ON-FLY / Cockpit Interface concept

DRAG-ON-FLY
DRAG-ON-FLY

The point of departure of the concept DRAG-ON-FLY envisages a scenario, in which cars move on the road as entirely autonomous units. But if the technology in the car is completely automated, what does this mean for the design in the cockpit? How will the interior of the car change?
Wing-like, the application floats above the foot well of the front passengers. The Centerstack becomes an elegantly curved strip, upon which flexible OLED tablet displays are moved. The interface to the on board system, to Internet, to the digital world.
And so I move in the cockpit through my world –as quickly, lightly and jauntily as a dragonfly.
