Life Box / Emergency Shelter

Life Box
Life Box

LifeBox meets the inherent life needs of disaster survivors rapidly and effectively. It is built around the idea of air-dropping disaster relief goods into hard to reach zones. It includes a box that turns into a 4-person inflatable shelter containing relief goods and a parachute that is used as the outer layer of the shelter. The graphic instructions offer easy usage, with a set-up time of one minute. The box, made of PE foam, provides comfort and insulation for the shelter whilst protecting the disaster relief goods against shocks during distribution. LifeBox is offered in 3 types: ‘air’,‘land’ and 'water',with the latter serving as a raft.
