Umbrella Prop / crutches

Umbrella Prop
Umbrella Prop

Anybody who uses crutches faces the problem of holding an umbrella. It’s very inconvenience and uncomfortable during raining days. Therefore, Umbrella Prop is designing for solving this problem.
The idea of the appearance is from bamboo. It’s a traditional and ancient image of crutches but was modified by a modern interpretation. The bamboo joints-shape parts can be separated or assembled to adjust according to a user’s height.

The friction of an in-line skating wheel is bigger than usual rubber, and the surface of wheels can prevent crutches to be tangled by small holes on the ground (The wheels are locked and can’t rotate).
