Roto / remote control

Roto
Roto

The most comfortable temperature for people is 26 ℃. However, the temperature of air conditioning is often set too high or too low, resulting in large amount of energy waste. Roto is a remote control of the air conditioning which serves as an energy-saving reminder. The shape of its control panel is inspired by the rotary dial of old telephones. With a rotary control panel, the more the temperature that a user desired departed from 26 ℃, the harder Roto has to be scrolled. Therefore, Roto helps people realize that it may cause a waste of energy when they adjust the temperature too high or too low.
