This is a home defense weapon for the future. It uses a pulsed energy projectile, in which an invisible laser is used to heat the air around an intruder causing an explosion and incapacitating them. It also has a strobe light to disorient the intruder, and can be used in close combat if they get near. Once activated a built in camera streams live video and audio to an off-site center that can notify the authorities of an emergency. To keep the device out of the wrong hands, there is a biometric sensor that will prevent unauthorized use. Because of this, parents can leave it in an accessible place with out fear of their children getting hurt.
