SolarBoard is a snowboarding gear set that indicates the riding state with LEDs and maintains the body temperature with heating wires, by drawing electric power from Flexible Thin Film Solar Cell on the snowboard. When the boots are locked onto the snowboard the solar cell provides stored energy. The heating wires inside the boots keep the feet warm, not only giving the comfort but also reducing possibility of injury. The LEDs act as direction lights, brake lights, or SOS signals. Flexible Thin Film Solar Cell is thin and light, therefore enables better and safer snowboarding without affecting the original shape and functions of the snowboard
