Sunset / Poster

March 11, 2011 Japan 9 magnitude strong earthquake caused the reactor of the nuclear power plant explosion. It has been the two years, but for the people experiencing the disaster, their physical and mental are likely to leave scars that can never be removed.

We immersed our poster in sea water with pigment until the red circle which is the symbol of Japan is discolored about its half place. The houses at the bottom is based on the Fukushima location before the disaster. The submerged region is extended from the region (houses) to the country (red cycle). This implies the influence of the disaster has been expanded.
