Releaf / Kitchen Utensil

Pouring hot liquid into a mug without overflowing may seem like a mundane task. However, for some, it can prove quite challenging. RELEAF was designed specifically for the visually impaired : this small object is a Liquid Level Indicator that provides useful information to the user while relying solely on Archimede's Principle. Common methods involve either putting your finger inside the cup (with a risk of scalding your flesh) or electronic devices that require regular upkeep and battery changes. RELEAF, on the other hand, is entirely mechanical, easy to clean and cost-effective. A simple project meant for the day-to-day lives of its users.
