A bionic design was created for an extension cord, using the shape of a snail. Bionic design provides for convenient storage of the extension cord. Most household extension cords are not designed for convenient storage. Industrial extension cords are too large and not suitable for general household use. The reason for using a snail shape for the extension cord is because when a snail crawls, it leaves behind traces of sticky liquids. The track of the extension cord resembles the traces of a snail crawling, hence the name "Snail Walker."
