I was inspired by interchanges. Their 3D patterns are so complicated yet so exquisite, and can be designed as children’s construction toy. Using the idea of plane symmetry group, I created two rail track components and a supportive wooden block to construct a railway for the trains. Various routes can be created by attaching the components in different directions. As children of different age are in different developmental stages, rail tracks can be constructed in various degrees of difficulty.
