Mor'tised / stool

Mor'tised
Mor'tised

For over 7000 years, Chinese mortise has always been a significant technique widely used on wood. Burr Puzzle is the derivation of mortise craft; it is a structure that can firmly connect triaxial wood pieces through orderly assembling.

We apply one of the combinations from the Burr Puzzle to aluminum and present the concept in the form of high stool. While deriving the core value and wisdom from Chinese technique, we also breakthrough its existing impression and create new possibilities for traditional mortise.
