Chopstick Forceps / Surgical instrument

Chopstick Forceps

In surgery, bayonet forceps are regular tools ideally used for picking, pinching and to remove unwanted substance. However it cannot be widened, hence the surgeon usually look away from surgical field and reach for dissector or micro scissors. This can be dangerous as it is very distracting and time consuming as both precision and speed is the key to successful operation.
Korean metal chopsticks however, can perform all those maneuvers including splitting the food. Such technique can be adapted to regular bayonet forceps by attaching two finger caps on the side to aid the surgeon's struggle.
