Dalì’s Ghost is a table lamp but provides an illusion of a surreal impossible suspended lamp, lighting up a cup of coffee.
Several factors make this perception:
-The gestalt implies an up-to-down illumination but it is vice versa.
-In a dark area, illuminated by Dalì’s Ghost the transparent plastic Post is invisible so a viewer just see a cup which is lighted up with a fake suspended lamp with no connection with Cup.
-The light goes up from Post and the titanium Cylinder, brightening top of the table lamp. It emphasizes that fake suspended lamp has no support on ceiling.
In summary this product makes a proactive emotional visual design aspect
