While people are taking public elevators, hygiene becomes real important. For disable people, to push the floor buttons is also a problem. According to researches, public elevator buttons are 40 times unclean then toilet seats, so as long as people do not touch it, people will avoid bacteria and contamination. The new control system designed here is Kinect Elevator Panel to solve those problems. Instead of touching and pushing the buttons, by pointing at the floor numbers they would like to go, the motion sensors in the control systems will detect people’s hand gestures, select the floors, and take them to the floors they would like to go.
