Take It Easy / Toilet paper holder

Take It Easy

The average person uses around 30 rolls of toilet paper in a year.
Current systems provide the user with an excessive amount of toilet paper, as when pulled,
the roll spins freely without control wasting a precious amount of paper.

Take It Easy is a new system that controls the amount of toilet paper the user can dispose.
A strong pull to the toilet roll will mechanically activate a spring which will stop the spin.
As a consequence the amount of paper provided will be limited.
Whereas if the pull is at a normal force the spring will not activate and the mechanism will rotate freely.
