Missing Piece – Organ Donation

Organ donation is a controversial topic because it deals with death. In our society we are not used to thinking about our own death, not to mention imagining what will happen to our bodies after death. Topics like blood or organ donation represent great potential to make life possible or porllong life for others. I created an organ donation foundation, including branding and promotion with the primary target group to a younger audience in the UK. The name "Missing Piece" is perfect: it appeals to young people (18–35) as they are looking for the missing piece in their lives and it represents both the donor and the receiver.

JURY STATEMENT

"Carried over into all different types of media, this is an excellent presentation of a socially relevant topic for the younger generation. The missing organ is omitted in the graphics - with the clean aesthetics of surgery."

WINNER STATEMENT

When I got the message that my work was awarded I was completely SPEECHLESS - I cried with joy and then I danced around the whole day. WOHOOO!!! I did (and still do!) feel honored. THANK YOU!!!
