Handster is a small device which motivates health care professionals to disinfect their hands and also enables them to use it whenever it is required. Also, handster has a pen-alike semantics which facilitates device to be carried in a pocket.
It has a timer which displays the time since last disinfection. It also creates the gentle buzz to inform user when disinfection is required the most. There is a disposable and recyclable cartridge of disinfectant which can be inserted into the device. A cartridge lasts for 20 shots (one shift of a HCP). The device has a Li-Ion rechargeable cell which can be easily recharged putting device on the dock.
